Working principle of shot blasting machine dust collector
2024-09-30

The working principle of the dust collector of the shot blasting machine mainly includes four steps: dust collection, filtration, dust particle treatment and discharge. ‌

First, when the shot blasting machine is working, dust and impurities will be sucked into the dust collector with the movement of the air flow. These exhaust gases enter through the air inlet of the dust collector and come into contact with the filter bag, and larger particles of dust and impurities will be intercepted by the filter bag. ‌

Next, the dust and impurities intercepted by the filter bag will form a primary layer, which can effectively prevent fine dust and impurities from passing through. Over time, more and more dust and impurities will accumulate on the primary layer, forming a filter layer, which can block tiny particles larger than 0.01 microns, thereby achieving efficient dust removal. ‌

Then, the filtered air will enter the dust particle treatment chamber through the air flow channel. In this process, the air flow speed slows down, causing the dust and impurities to settle due to gravity and eventually fall into the dust hopper. This step ensures that only the smallest particles can be discharged with the air flow. ‌

Finally, the air after dust particle treatment is discharged through the exhaust port, and the exhaust gas contains only a trace amount of dust, meeting the emission standards. This step ensures that the exhaust air is cleaner and more environmentally friendly.
