Common problems of the through-type shot blasting machine separator
2024-07-12

Common problems of the through-type shot blasting machine separator include:

Ineffective separation: This may lead to incomplete separation of the shot materials and impurities, affecting the quality and efficiency of shot blasting. It could be caused by an unreasonable design of the separator, insufficient air volume, inappropriate wind speed, or damage to the internal structure.

Shot material clogging: The internal channels of the separator may be clogged by shot materials, affecting the normal separation process. Common causes include damp and sticky shot materials or large impurities getting stuck in the channels.

Air volume adjustment failure: The air volume adjustment device malfunctions and is unable to adjust the appropriate air volume as needed, thereby affecting the separation effect.

Internal structure wear: After long-term use, the internal structures of the separator, such as blades and baffles, may experience wear, resulting in a decline in separation performance.

Poor sealing: If the sealing parts of the separator are not tightly sealed, it may cause air leakage, affecting the air volume and wind speed, and subsequently the separation effect.
